Again, something that can be compensated for, with the right equipment and enough practice, but an unnecessary impediment. He also said the tone was a little too bright and thin sounding for him. It's not something that can't be compensated for with embouchure if you know this particular sax and it's issues well, but it does add unnecessary difficulty to learning it. He said that it played fine through except the higher notes and lower notes (I believe D and up on the higher register and C an below on the lowest register) are significantly out of tune. UPDATE: I brought this to my saxophone teacher to let him evaluate it.
