Didn't wanna mess with it tho'HA! So I see this thread died forever ago. Took me digging around a few other sites to find the easiest explination.See here:Basiclally, open a new notepad file.Paste this in:@echo offjava -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraftserver.jarpauseand save as 'run.bat' in the same folder you have your minecrafte server in.If you have very limited RAM, like I do, put 'nogui' (No GUI, aka Game User Interface) at the end of the second line and it should help.Run your server and WOOT! It's fixed:smile.gif:Bye guys! OK, so setting up a server on the Mac.
I'm assuming you're using the default server, not Bukkit. Download the server.jar, and put it in its own folder called MCSERVER on your desktop.
Open textedit and typecd /Desktop/MCSERVERjava -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -jar minecraft-server.jardo SHIFT-COMMAND-T, and then save it to the MCSERVER folder. Then, change the extension from.txt to.command.Then, download 'Port Map' from. Set it up by clicking the plus button, then filling it out like this:Local port:25565Public Port:25565Select tcp AND udp. For description, use MC Server or anything you want. Then, click add mapping. Launch the server and try connecting.Hope this helps!-A2PS: For payment, I'd like a Lamborghini Reventon. Be careful what you say:tongue.gif:!
